THE HYDRO-CON WAY


Hydro-Con believes in a proactive, safety first approach to ensure an accident/incident free work site.  Our employees are “Operator Qualified” at minimum with NCCER and Veriforce, and are trained in Safeland and TRAP training courses.

All of Hydro-Con’s trucks are equipped with ELD’s (Electronic Logging Devices) and our employees are trained on DOT rules, regulations and hours of service.

TRAINING & CERTIFICATION


Hydro-Con offers in-house training to our employees and we also utilize 3rd party training facilities to ensure our employees receive a fresh perspective and outside opinions.

SAFETY VALUES & GOALS


  • Management Commitment: All managers will lead the HSE process by example and have direct involvement in the onsite safety of all employees and others.

  • Employee Participation: All employees are empowered to be engaged in job site safety and all are always given the authority to stop work. To have all employees understand that, regardless of job duty or title, they are each responsible for taking on a leadership role with respect to safety.

  • Employee Feedback: Encourage employees to provide feedback with respect to onsite observations and current safety programs and policies.

  • Recognize and Reward Safe Behavior: Provide positive motivation via a reward system to encourage safe behavior from all employees.

  • Sub-Contractor Management: All subcontractors will be closely monitored to ensure that they meet all Hydro-Con’s safety standards and requirements.

  • Safety Orientation and Training: All employees will be provided with effective safety training upon hiring and on a periodic basis to ensure that they can properly identify and mitigate hazards in the workplace.

  • Pre-Planning: Our staff will deploy effective risk mitigation efforts to design, plan and build safety into every project.

  • Zero Incidents: To successfully complete all projects with zero safety incidents. Every employee will return home the way they arrived!

DRUG SCREENING


 Our commitment to a “Zero-Tolerance” drug and alcohol free workplace is met with random, pre-employment, post-accident and reasonable suspicion testing for ALL employees.

Safety is not just our focus while on location, but on the public roadways as well. We fully understand the responsibility we have to the general public, communities and our families; this is why we make a concentrated effort in only hiring the most qualified and experienced employees to be a part of our team.
